Double Eyelid

Double eyelid creases may be absent from birth due to lack of connection between muscle and skin. In ageing, double eyelid fold can also be hidden due to excessive over hanging skin (blepharochalasis). There are often fatty tissue in the eyelid skin or even eyebags causing bulging of the upper lids. These fatty tissue will be removed at the same time the double eyelid crease is created.

Levator Plication (Ptosis Correction)

Levator plication is suitable for those with mild to moderate blepharoptosis. This basically means that the patient has a sleepy appearance. This happens when the muscle that lifts the upper eyelid becomes loose over time as we age or, the patient may have had a previous surgery that has “trapped” the muscle, preventing it from lifting up well.

Brow Excision

Suitable for people who have

  • Forehead creases
  • Drooping sides of eyes (especially the sides)

The skin, muscle and tissue between the eyebrow and the eye also sags with time. As a result of this, the forehead muscle tries to lift the eyebrow/tissues, creating forehead creases.

This surgery will take out the excess tissue and give the eyes a bright and youthful appearance.
